how do u go about figuring out ur vedic astrology nakshatra 
I recommend using either https://horoscopes.astro-seek.com/sidereal-astrology-chart-calculator or https://www.vedicastrology.us.com/index.php/about-mickey/about-vedic-astrology/calculate-your-vedic-astrology-chart ! The first link is good if youâre already familiar with western astrology and circle charts, just click on the ânakshatraâ tab once it gives you your chart and itâll show the version with all the nakshatras and where your planets fall. The second link is better if you need a simple list of planet/sign/nakshatra/pada rather than interpreting it yourself.
If you already know your western birth chart, youâll find that your vedic chart doesnât really match up with it. Thatâs because in vedic astrology everything is shifted back ~1 sign. Each planet will have its own nakshatra, and theyâre all important, but in vedic astrology the moon is considered the âbirth starâ and most influential, like how western astrology usually focuses on someoneâs sun sign.
